Maxwell Kudekor Submits Nomination to Contest GJA National Organising Secretary Position



A seasoned journalist and media leader, Maxwell Kudekor, has officially submitted his nomination to contest the position of National Organising Secretary in the upcoming Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) national elections.


Mr. Kudekor, who currently serves as a member of the National Executive Council of the GJA, brings to the race a wealth of experience, having previously served two terms each as the Regional Secretary and Regional Chairman of the Association in the Eastern Region.


In a statement confirming his bid, Mr. Kudekor emphasized his commitment to advancing the interests of the Association and championing the welfare of journalists, broadcasters, and media workers across the country.


“My priority is to promote membership benefits and advance the interests of our dear Association,” he said. “Together, we can promote and protect total media freedom and the welfare of media practitioners in Ghana and beyond.”


As the GJA election calendar gears up for the official campaign period, Mr. Kudekor has called on his colleagues and fellow journalists to support his vision and candidacy, pledging to serve with integrity and dedication.
