Hon. Sampson Koranteng Addo, the Assemblyman for Ati Amamfrom Electoral Area in the Abuakwa North Municipality, is making a heartfelt appeal for public and philanthropic support to construct a much-needed footbridge for his community.

The electoral area has long faced challenges due to the absence of a safe crossing over a local stream, resulting in tragic accidents, including the heartbreaking loss of a school child. With schools set to reopen soon, the urgency to address this issue has intensified.

In an effort to resolve the problem, Hon. Addo has formed a community committee and introduced a household contribution plan. However, he acknowledges that these measures alone may not generate the funds needed or deliver the footbridge in time to prevent further incidents.

Hon. Addo is therefore appealing to benevolent individuals, organizations, and the general public to lend their support to this life-saving initiative. "We need all the help we can get to ensure the safety of our residents, especially our children," he said.
