The Queen Mother of Kwahu Obomeng, Ohemaa Yaa Kwei, brought smiles to the faces of children in the community and its environs by hosting a festive Christmas party. The event featured music, food, and an atmosphere of joy as the Queen Mother spent time with the children to reassure them of their importance to the community.


Addressing the gathering, Ohemaa Yaa Kwei emphasized that children are the future of the community and deserve special attention during the festive season. “Christmas is incomplete if we do not take care of our children. This party is to make them feel the joy of the season and show that we care about their happiness,” she stated.


The Queen Mother also urged parents to continue investing in their children, particularly in education, which she described as the best way to secure their future. She encouraged the children to respect their parents and embrace discipline and hard work as key values.

She concluded her address by extending heartfelt Christmas and New Year wishes to everyone, emphasizing her commitment to the welfare and development of the children in Kwahu Obomeng.


The event left many children delighted and reinforced the community’s dedication to nurturing its younger generation.
