E/R: Aspirant Constituency Chairman Vows to Win Nkawkaw Seat for NDC for the First Time

Mr. Bakira Tahiru, Chairman of the Youth Working Committee of the NDC in the Nkawkaw Constituency, has assured members that he will win the Nkawkaw parliamentary seat for the NDC for the first time if elected as Constituency Chairman.


He gave the assurance after successfully submitting his nomination forms at the Nkawkaw Constituency party office to contest the upcoming NDC Constituency Chairmanship election.


Mr. Tahiru promised that he and his supporters would run a clean campaign devoid of insults and violence. He therefore advised supporters of other aspirants to do same, noting that the party needs to remain united before and after the elections.


According to him, internal elections should strengthen, rather than divide, the party. He emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and teamwork in rebuilding the party in the Nkawkaw Constituency.


He indicated that an internal election is not about too much talking and shouting, but about hard work. He added that he has worked hard for the party over the years and is hopeful that delegates will reward his dedication by voting massively for him.


Mr. Tahiru pointed out that he has positively impacted the lives of many within the constituency and is optimistic of winning the election to make the party more attractive, especially to non-party members.


He further called for unity and mutual understanding among party members, adding that without unity, it would be extremely difficult to achieve the aims and objectives of the party.


He stated that preparations for the 2028 general elections must begin from the constituency level to contribute to the party’s national electoral success.
