E/R: Aikins Ofori Files Nomination for Abuakwa South NDC Chairmanship Race

*ABUAKWA SOUTH —* The political landscape in the Abuakwa South Constituency has gained momentum as chairmanship hopeful, Aikins Ofori, officially filed his nomination forms to contest the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections.


The filing took place on September 23, 2026, at the Abuakwa South Constituency party office, marking a major milestone in his bid to lead the party to victory and renewed strength in the area.


The atmosphere at the constituency office was charged with excitement as enthusiastic supporters, party executives and well-wishers, adorned in party colours, thronged the venue with drumming and chants of his popular campaign slogans, _“#Osoro B3kasa”_ and _“#The New Origin.”_


Speaking briefly after submitting his forms, Aikins Ofori expressed his commitment to uniting the grassroots, strengthening party structures and repositioning the NDC in Abuakwa South as a formidable force ahead of the next political season. He called for total unity, hard work and collective focus from all party faithful to ensure a resounding victory for the NDC in the constituency.


Constituency executives present commended him for his dedication to the party and urged all supporters to conduct a peaceful, issue-based campaign that fosters growth, inclusivity and solidarity across all branches.


As the race heats up, Aikins Ofori's bid continues to generate enthusiasm among delegates and constituents who view his leadership as a fresh dawn for the party in Abuakwa South.
