E/R:Samuel Osei Sarkodie Declares Bid for NPP Eastern Regional Youth Organiser Post
KOFORIDUA, ER – Mr. Samuel Osei Sarkodie, the prominent Founder and Leader of the S.O.S. Foundation in the New Juaben North Municipality, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Eastern Regional Youth Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The announcement marks a significant early entry into the race for regional party stewardship.
The declaration took place during a Mother's Day celebration hosted at Mr. Sarkodie’s residence in Asokore Kuma. Addressing an audience that included 66 women holding various executive positions within the NPP and 16 local Youth Organisers, the aspirant emphasized the indispensable role of women in the party’s structure. He noted that every woman in good standing represents a "mother figure" to the party, asserting that the strength of women is a non-negotiable asset that must be prioritized and catered for.
Mr. Sarkodie described women as the "backbone" of the NPP, pledging to work collaboratively with them to fortify the party’s grassroots efforts. He underscored that this partnership is vital for maximizing votes and securing political fortunes in the upcoming 2028 general elections. To demonstrate his commitment, he pledged ongoing support—within his means—for all women-led engagements within the Eastern Regional Branch.
The event concluded on a high note, with the gathered women and Youth Organisers treated to a celebratory dinner and various gifts in honor of the Mother's Day festivities. The enthusiastic response from the attendees suggests a strong initial wave of support for Mr. Sarkodie’s vision for the regional youth wing.
