Businesswoman, entrepreneur, investor and politician, Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed, has highlighted her extensive experience in business, politics, traditional leadership and community development, saying her ultimate vision is to contribute to a peaceful, united and prosperous Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Kwasi Asare on Nopras FM, Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed said her professional and leadership journey has focused on connecting people, businesses, investors, institutions and communities to create opportunities for sustainable economic and social development.
She said she currently serves in various leadership capacities, including Director of Akwa Digital Logistics and Technologies Group Limited, Director of Kingdomcoin Mining Limited, Director of MMAY Haulage and Transport Limited, Co-Director of Isoman Ventures, and CEO of Maine Verlangen Enterprise.
Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed, who is also the Founder and CEO of Voice of the Nation, said her business interests and professional experience have exposed her to strategic business development, logistics, investment facilitation, real estate, mining and corporate management.
On her political career, she disclosed that she has been actively involved in the National Democratic Congress and its affiliated structures for several years.
She contested the 2019 parliamentary primaries in the Amasaman Constituency, where she secured second position among seven aspirants and emerged as the only female candidate.
She also served as a Municipal Chief Executive aspirant for the Ga West Municipality in 2025, while holding various leadership positions within the NDC, including roles in the Greater Accra Women's Wing and the Zongo for Mahama campaign.
Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed further spoke about her traditional leadership responsibilities as the Ga West Queen Mother for Hausa Communities, Magajia Hausa Wa, and Development Queen Mother of Akyem Quarshie in the Eastern Region.
According to her, traditional leadership should go beyond ceremonies and focus on practical interventions that improve the lives of people, particularly women and the youth.
She cited the construction of a two-storey vocational school at Akyem Quarshie as one of her community development initiatives aimed at equipping young people with practical skills.
She also mentioned the donation of 15 motorbikes to young people in the Ga West Municipality, as well as the provision of potable water systems and educational materials to the Abenabo farming community.
Hajia Mariam Dzifa Mohammed said her commitment to women and youth empowerment, education, community development and peacebuilding remains central to her leadership philosophy.
She encouraged young people, women and aspiring entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities available to them, develop their skills and actively participate in the development of their communities and the country.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Methodist University College, alongside professional certificates in leadership and security science, political leadership and governance, accounting and banking principles, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting).
