MESSAGE FROM ANAS AHMED TO THE CENTRAL REGIONAL NDC FRATERNITY

The great NDC party remains strong, resilient, and formidable at the grassroots level.


Our grassroots supporters are the lifeblood of the party — the true nutrients that keep the NDC flourishing and growing bigger each day.


Across Ghana and beyond, many citizens are proud to associate themselves with the great transformation taking place under the visionary leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.


Distinguished party faithful and fellow Ghanaians,

My name is Anas Ahmed, a proud native of Oguaman, in the heart of Cape Coast. I was born, educated, married, and have lived in Cape Coast all my life until after completing my university education at the University of Cape Coast in 2014.


Today, I humbly present myself and my vision to serve as Deputy Central Regional Secretary of our great party, the NDC, in the forthcoming elections.


I believe in people. I believe in Ghanaians. And I firmly uphold the beliefs and principles enshrined in the constitution of our great party — the National Democratic Congress.


I am convinced beyond every reasonable doubt that, in unity, we will surely reach the destination we all envision for Ghana.


I also believe that Ghanaians everywhere — regardless of their background — share in the principles of probity, accountability, freedom, and justice, and continue to express deep affection for the NDC.


Today, Ghana needs leaders with the enduring qualities of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Jerry John Rawlings, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, and H.E. John Dramani Mahama — leaders who can hold the torch high and ensure that the grievances of the masses are addressed swiftly.


Leaders who will ensure that the nation’s resources and potentials are maximized for the benefit of all.


Distinguished party members and fellow Ghanaians,

I, Anas Ahmed, stand before you as a friend, a brother, a pastor, and an imam — ready to sit with you one-on-one, to discuss how we can collectively sacrifice and break barriers beyond expectations to reach the promised land.


On this note, I make a solemn pledge:

If elected as Deputy Central Regional Secretary, I will complement the efforts of the Regional Secretary to effectively implement all excellent policies and directives from the national and regional levels.


I am ready, prepared, and more than capable to mobilize, energize, orient, and expand the party’s support base in the Central Region through my expertise, experience, and strong human relations, guided by divine blessings.


This is a pledge I will not go back on. Expect nothing less than excellent administrative skills, outstanding human relations, and top-tier communication abilities.

Dr. Kingsley Agyeman, the parliamentary candidate for Abuakwa South Constituency, has extended a generous hand to support local youth and artisans. In a heartwarming ceremony held at Akyem Maase, Dr. Agyeman, along with key New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives, donated essential equipment and financial support to aspiring apprentices in dressmaking and hairdressing. Eastern Region Inaugurates Task Force to Tackle Illegal Mining

Koforidua, Ghana – The Eastern Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has inaugurated a nine-member illegal mining task force to combat the growing menace of galamsey and protect the region’s lands, forests, and water bodies for future generations.
