E/R:Kabaka Foundation Supports Children with Disabilities at Nsawam Orthopaedic Training Centre
The Kabaka Foundation, led by its Founder and Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosuohene, Nana Owiredu Wadie, has extended a generous donation to children with disabilities at the Orthopaedic Training Centre (OTC) in Nsawam, Eastern Region.
The Foundation presented quantities of toiletries, learning materials, stationery, and assorted food items, including bags of rice, sugar, canned foods, and cooking oil.
Speaking during the presentation, Nana Owiredu Wadie explained that the gesture formed part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and marginalized communities. He reaffirmed the Foundation’s dedication to partnering with the OTC in its mission to assist children with physical disabilities, improve their mobility, and enhance their quality of life. He added that the donation also formed part of activities to mark his birthday month.
Receiving the items, Rev. Elizabeth Newman, Director of the Nsawam Orthopaedic Training Centre, expressed gratitude to Nana Owiredu Wadie and the Kabaka Foundation. She noted that such interventions significantly help reduce the Centre’s expenses and ease its financial challenges.
