E/R:Kwahu Afram Plains South NPP Youth Demand Suspension of Deputy Youth Organizer for Misconduct

The Concerned Youth Force of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kwahu Afram Plains South Constituency of the Eastern Region has petitioned constituency executives to suspend the Deputy Youth Organizer, Ebenezer Donkor, also known as "Jumping Kid," over allegations of gross misconduct.

The group, angered by the alleged actions of Mr. Donkor, outlined several accusations against him, including:

1. Discussing internal party matters on radio.

2. Stealing bags of rice meant for campaign activities ahead of the 2024 general elections.

3. Being involved in a theft incident at a supermarket.

4. Publicly assaulting and insulting party executives, including the Chairman, Treasurer, and Women's Organizer.

Speaking to Afia Agyeimaa Budu at Tease, Ernest Opoku, the leader of the Concerned Youth Force, urged the party executives to act swiftly on their petition to avoid further discontent.

“We appeal to the party executives to address these issues as soon as possible, or we, the youth, may be forced to take matters into our own hands,” Ernest Opoku stated.

In response, the NPP Constituency Chairman, Israel Kofi Naadow, acknowledged receipt of the petition. He assured the group that the executives were already investigating the matter and promised to take appropriate action. Chairman Naadow also urged the youth to remain calm and law-abiding while the issue is resolved.

The petition highlights tensions within the constituency and underscores the need for swift action to maintain unity in the party.
