W/R:Joana Gyan Cudjoe to Launch Campaign to Solidify NDC’s Presence in Amenfi Central
Wasa Agona in the Amenfi Central Constituency of Ghana’s Western Region is set to host a major campaign event on November 27, 2024, as Joana Gyan Cudjoe officially kicks off her parliamentary bid for the National Democratic Congress (NDC). This rally comes on the heels of a court decision affirming her eligibility to run, adding momentum to her campaign ahead of the December 2024 general elections.
The highly-anticipated launch is expected to attract a large crowd of supporters. Hon. Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, NDC General Secretary, will initiate a three-day tour of the constituency in support of Joana Gyan Cudjoe, while former President and NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama will attend as the event’s special guest on November 27.
The rally, set to take place in Wasa Agona, will serve as an opportunity for Joana Gyan Cudjoe to present her vision for the development of Amenfi Central. Her speech will focus on addressing key issues facing the constituency and explaining why she is the ideal choice to represent them in parliament.
NDC supporters are eagerly preparing for the event, which they believe will energize the campaign and strengthen the morale of party members. Mahama’s presence is anticipated to invigorate the crowd, rallying support for both his presidential bid and Joana’s parliamentary race.
With Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s campaign launch, the NDC aims to reinforce its influence in Amenfi Central, a seat the party currently holds. The event marks the beginning of a dedicated campaign effort, with the party confident that its unified strategy will help secure victory at both the parliamentary and presidential levels in the upcoming elections.
