Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Amenfi Central in the Western Region of Ghana, is making a significant impact in her constituency through a series of community initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents. Her dedication to development, empowerment, and well-being in various electoral areas has solidified her reputation as a leader committed to lasting change.


KWAKUBUAH ELECTORAL AREA: Health, Sanitation, and Water Projects.

In the Kwakubuah Electoral Area, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe has made strides in healthcare and community infrastructure, including:

1. Organizing a health screening for all residents.

2. Distributing sanitary pads to teenagers to promote menstrual hygiene.

3. Distributing mosquito nets to combat malaria.

4. Sponsoring the mechanization of a borehole in Kojoda, which is currently in progress.


KWABIKROM ELECTORAL AREA: Empowering Women.

- Made a seed fund donation to support the Women’s Group, helping them start small businesses and improve their economic status.


TUNTUM ELECTORAL AREA: Community Safety and Women’s Empowerment.

1. Supported the replacement of a dangerous electric pole, enhancing safety for residents.

2. Donated a seed fund to the Women’s Group to support their entrepreneurial ventures.


SAMFIFRE ELECTORAL AREA: Economic Support for Women.

Contributed a seed fund to the Women’s Group, fostering financial independence among local women.


BEPOSO ELECTORAL AREA: Education and Infrastructure.

1. Sponsored the renovation of a school building to create a better learning environment for students.

2. Supported the installation of street lights to improve security in the area.


KYEIKROM ELECTORAL AREA: Infrastructure and Healthcare.

1. Sponsored the mechanization of a long-abandoned borehole to provide clean water to the community.

2. Facilitated the replacement of a damaged transformer to restore electricity.

3. Sponsored a surgical operation for a community member in need.

4. Made a seed fund donation to the Women’s Group to support their initiatives.


ANOMATEWA ELECTORAL AREA: Education and Connectivity.

1. Paid salaries for four community teachers for one year, with the first four months already covered.

2. Sponsored maintenance of the bridge connecting Beposo and Anomatewa to improve transportation.

3. Made a seed fund donation to the Women’s Group to enhance their economic activities.


OHENEKROM ELECTORAL AREA: Water Supply and Education.

1. Supported the mechanization of a borehole to provide safe drinking water.

2. Sponsored the roofing of a school building to improve educational infrastructure.

NANTIEDI ELECTORAL AREA: Infrastructure Development and Women’s Empowerment 

1. Sponsored the maintenance of a bridge connecting Beposo, Samfifre, and Nantiedi.

2. Made a seed fund donation to the Women’s Group to support their financial independence.


AKYEKYERE3, SURESO, AND PENSANOM ELECTORAL AREAS: Supporting Cultural Infrastructure.

1. Made cash donations towards the construction of Durbar Centres in Akyekyere3, Sureso, and Pensanom to promote cultural gatherings and community events.


GENERAL SUPPORT: Education, Youth Empowerment, and Community Development.

1. Provided stipends to tertiary students to support their education.

2. Sponsored the payment of admission fees for tertiary students, an ongoing initiative aimed at reducing financial barriers to education.

3. Supported youth skills training and apprenticeship programs, currently in progress, to equip young people with practical skills.

4. Donated food items to the Muslim community, promoting unity and support for religious groups.
