NDC AKIM ODA CONSTITUENCY HOSTS MASSIVE HEALTH WALK, SIGNALING WINDS OF CHANGE

On Sunday, 15th September 2024, the NDC Akim Oda Constituency organized a massive health walk that drew multitudes, signaling a strong desire for change. The event, which attracted people from all walks of life, was graced by key national, regional, and constituency officials, symbolizing unity and strength within the party.

Notable among the attendees were constituency executives from Akim Oda, led by Hon. Jones Asante, Parliamentary Candidate for Akim Oda, and Hon. Mumuni Gariba, Constituency Chairman. They were joined by Hon. Tawiah Boateng, former Eastern Regional Chairman; Michael Ofoe Akorli, Deputy Regional Communication Officer; Richard Etornam Nyarko, Regional Youth Organizer; Alhaji Issa Saani, Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator; and Mr. Ojam Richard, founder of the 1st Time Voters initiative. Constituency executives from Achiase, Swedru, AAM, and Ofoase Ayirebi were also in full attendance, showcasing the solidarity and strength of the NDC across the region.

In his speech, Hon. Jones Asante declared that he is confident the electorate will vote massively for him as MP and for HE John Mahama as president. He reiterated that the NDC will win the Akim Oda Constituency in the upcoming elections to bring the much-needed development that has been lacking. He also promised that the next NDC government will build a new university for the people of Akim Oda, a pledge that resonated deeply with the crowd.

The walk was more than just an event for fitness—it was a statement of determination, as the NDC in Akim Oda displayed a united front, ready to usher in a new political era.
