E/R: Abuakwa South Parliamentary Candidate Dr. Kingsley Agyeman Donates Equipment and Funds to Apprentices and Local Associations

Dr. Kingsley Agyeman, the parliamentary candidate for Abuakwa South Constituency, has extended a generous hand to support local youth and artisans. In a heartwarming ceremony held at Akyem Maase, Dr. Agyeman, along with key New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives, donated essential equipment and financial support to aspiring apprentices in dressmaking and hairdressing.
Among the NPP executives present were Constituency Chairman Otis Asante, Secretary Julius Okyere, Women’s Organizer Nana Serwaa Oti, and Organizer Okyeame Appiah. The event drew participation from several electoral areas, including Asafo, Akooko, Adonkwanta, and Agyapomaa.

Dr. Agyeman’s donation included 15 sewing machines and 15 hair dryers, aimed at helping young apprentices kickstart their careers in dressmaking and hairdressing. In addition to the equipment, Dr. Agyeman also provided a substantial amount of financial support. He pledged **₵1,000** for each apprentice—benefiting over 30 individuals—to be paid directly to their master craftsmen and women to aid in their training.
Furthermore, the hairdressers' and dressmakers' associations also received **₵5,000** from Dr. Agyeman to help boost their ongoing activities. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the timely assistance, which will significantly ease their path toward mastering their trades.
In his address, Dr. Kingsley Agyeman emphasized his commitment to empowering the youth of the constituency, especially those eager to learn vocational skills. He assured that his support will not be limited to females alone, promising to extend assistance to young men who are interested in learning trades such as carpentry, masonry, and other vocational skills.

In an unexpected turn of events, Mr. Mensah, a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), announced his decision to switch allegiance to the NPP. He attributed his move to the remarkable kindness and dedication shown by Dr. Kingsley Agyeman toward the people of the constituency. Mr. Mensah's public declaration of support was met with applause, further highlighting the goodwill generated by the parliamentary candidate’s benevolent actions.
Dr. Kingsley Agyeman’s donation event marks another step in his mission to uplift the people of Abuakwa South Constituency, particularly the youth and artisans. His ongoing efforts to provide tangible support, from equipment donations to financial backing, have not only enhanced the lives of beneficiaries but have also strengthened his standing within the community as a leader who delivers real change.
The event showcased not just generosity, but a commitment to improving lives and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their political background, benefits from development and opportunity.
