ROAD ACCIDENT AT OSIEM: 11 INJURED, NO DEATHS RECORDED

  Osiem, Thursday, August 28, 2025 – A white Nissan Caravan with registration number GW 9645-20 carrying 11 passengers was involved in an accident on the Bunso–Koforidua highway near the Saviour Hospital Mortuary at Osiem around 6:30 a.m. this morning. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred after one of the vehicle’s rear tyres burst, causing the car to overturn and drag along the road for several meters. Personnel from the Bunso Fire Service rushed to the scene and managed to rescue the trapped passengers. No fatalities have been recorded, but all occupants sustained varying degrees of injuries.
