E/R:Fanteakwa South DCE Holds Town Hall Meeting at Anyem Samang

 

The District Chief Executive for Fanteakwa South, Hon. Mercy Korang, has engaged residents of Anyem Samang in a town hall meeting to present the Assembly’s achievements and outline development plans.


The meeting, held on Wednesday, November 21, 2025, formed part of efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in local governance. Hon. Korang noted that the engagement was meant to update residents on government projects, gather feedback, and address development concerns.

Department heads of the Assembly presented reports on their 2025 activities and projections for 2026. The event also brought together traditional authorities led by the Chief of Anyem Samang, Nana Tetepor, who praised the initiative and called for fair distribution of development across communities.


Residents welcomed the opportunity to directly interact with the Assembly, ask questions, and seek clarification on ongoing projects.


Hon. Korang thanked the traditional authorities for their support and assured the community of the Assembly’s commitment to accelerating development under President John Mahama’s Resetting Agenda. She urged residents to remain hopeful as the district continues to see progress.


Nana Tetepor also commended the DCE for prioritizing community engagement and emphasized that such meetings strengthen trust between the government and the people.
