E/R: Osiem Ahenbronom Assembly Member Commissions Five Boreholes to Boost Access to Clean Water

 

The Assembly Member for Osiem Ahenbronom, Hon. Abdul Rahman Abdulai, has commissioned five newly completed boreholes aimed at expanding access to clean and reliable water across the electoral area.


The commissioning ceremony, held on November 15 at Osiem Y Junction, brought together community leaders, residents, and key stakeholders who applauded the initiative as another significant step toward improving living conditions within the community.


The newly constructed boreholes are situated at Osiem Y Junction, Osiem Mutungu, Osiem Presby, Osiem Awocye and Osiem Saviour Basic School. Their completion brings the total number of boreholes built under the leadership of Hon. Abdul Rahman Abdulai to 18, marking a major milestone in addressing long-standing water challenges in Osiem Ahenbronom.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Abdul Rahman Abdulai expressed gratitude to residents for their continuous support and reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing further developmental projects. He noted that improving access to potable water remains one of his top priorities due to its direct impact on health, sanitation, and community well-being.


Residents from the beneficiary communities praised the Assembly Member for his proactive leadership, describing the initiative as timely and transformative. They emphasized that the new boreholes will significantly reduce the difficulty of searching for water, especially during the dry season.


The commissioning of these projects forms part of broader efforts to ensure that all parts of Osiem Ahenbronom have access to improved social amenities and an enhanced quality of life.
