The ceremony has rekindled hope for unity, peace, and development within the community.
In his maiden address, Nana Asamadu Kwakye Ansong IV, the newly enstooled Chief of Tease, expressed profound gratitude to the kingmakers and elders of the Aduana Clan for the confidence reposed in him. He described his installation as a call to duty and pledged his commitment to serve with humility, transparency, and dedication.
Nana Asamadu Kwakye Ansong IV outlined his vision for the community, focusing on key sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, and road development. He assured residents of an open-door leadership style that embraces dialogue, constructive criticism, and mutual respect to promote peace and progress.
The new chief also urged the youth to uphold core values of humility, discipline, and respect, emphasizing that these virtues are essential in shaping responsible future leaders.
Speaking on behalf of the kingmakers, Nana Opoku Kakari IV, the Kwahu Pitiku Gyaasehene, explained that after 14 years of vacancy, the Tease Stool has finally found a worthy successor to the late Nana Kwakye Ansong III.
He recounted that the elaborate enstoolment ceremony included traditional rites, libation pouring, oath-taking, and cultural performances, all signifying the official acceptance of Nana Asamadu Kwakye Ansong IV as the rightful Chief of Tease. The rituals, he said, marked a new dawn of leadership, unity, and renewed hope for development in the area.
The colorful ceremony brought together chiefs, elders, family members, and residents who witnessed the historic occasion as Tease welcomed a new era under the leadership of Nana Asamadu Kwakye Ansong IV.
