Abuakwa South MP, Hon. Kingsley Agyeman, Hosts Akyem Maase Delegation at Parliament

The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Kingsley Agyeman, on Tuesday, 29th October 2025, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Akyem Maase Electoral Area to the Parliament House in Accra.


The delegation comprised the Assembly Member, the Electoral Area Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as well as staff and pupils of the Akyem Maase Presbyterian Basic School, led by their headmaster, Mr. Adai.

During their visit, the group was taken through various aspects of parliamentary proceedings, where they gained firsthand knowledge of how the legislative arm of government functions. The experience, according to members of the delegation, was both enlightening and inspiring, especially for the students who had the rare opportunity to witness parliamentary deliberations in session.

The team also had the privilege of interacting with some prominent national leaders, including Hon. Haruna Iddrisu and the Minister of Education, who shared words of encouragement with the pupils and their teachers.


In a brief interaction, Hon. Kingsley Agyeman expressed his delight in hosting the group and emphasized the importance of exposing young people to national institutions such as Parliament to deepen their civic understanding and inspire future leadership.


The delegation expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Kingsley Agyeman for making the educational tour possible and for his continuous support toward educational development within the Abuakwa South Constituency.

Dr. Kingsley Agyeman, the parliamentary candidate for Abuakwa South Constituency, has extended a generous hand to support local youth and artisans. In a heartwarming ceremony held at Akyem Maase, Dr. Agyeman, along with key New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives, donated essential equipment and financial support to aspiring apprentices in dressmaking and hairdressing.
