Kyebi Akwadum, Eastern Region – Residents of Kyebi Akwadum in the Abuakwa South Municipality have heaped praise on their traditional leader, Barimah Pobi Asomanin III, for spearheading remarkable development initiatives that are gradually transforming the town into a modern and thriving community.

The residents describe their chief as a visionary and development-oriented leader whose commitment to the socio-economic advancement of Kyebi Akwadum is unmatched. According to them, Barimah Pobi Asomanin III has not only brought hope to the people but has also significantly changed the physical landscape of the town.

“Before he was installed as our chief, the community was dotted with mud houses. Today, these have given way to modern block buildings, giving Kyebi Akwadum a facelift,” one resident said, expressing joy at the visible improvement in the town’s infrastructure.


In addition to replacing mud houses, Barimah Pobi Asomanin III has initiated the construction of apartment buildings aimed at providing decent and affordable accommodation for the locals. The effort is part of his broader plan to modernize the town and enhance the living standards of its residents.

These housing projects, according to community members, are not only beautifying the town but are also fostering a renewed sense of pride and dignity among the people.

“We are proud of the transformation happening under the leadership of our chief. He is not just talking; he is taking real action. And for that, we will continue to support him,” another resident noted.

The people of Kyebi Akwadum have pledged their continued loyalty and support to Barimah Pobi Asomanin III, emphasizing that his visionary leadership is critical to the ongoing socio-economic development of their community.
