The event, held at the Church of Christ Chapel in Nkawkaw, was themed “From Waste to Wealth: Driving Climate Action through Innovation, Research and Circular Solutions.” It focused on encouraging youth-led entrepreneurship through waste conversion and promoting eco-friendly practices.

In his address, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwahu West, Hon. He urged the youth, especially students, to adopt positive behaviors and attitudes as they pursue their career goals.

Hon. Halidu reiterated his commitment to supporting young people in the municipality with training and resources to develop innovative solutions that transform waste into valuable economic opportunities. He noted that with the right technical knowledge and support, youth can lead the charge in building a circular economy that addresses climate challenges.
