E/R: Video: Chief Constructs Culvert to Boost Development in Kyebi Akwadum

To enhance accessibility and support community development in Kyebi Akwadum, a town in the Abuakwa South Municipality of Ghana’s Eastern Region, Barimah Pobi Asomanin III has initiated the construction of a culvert to link two key communities.

Speaking on behalf of the chief, the chief linguist Nana Kwaku Atiemu, popularly known as WK Ofosu, stated that the project aims to open up the area for expansion and infrastructural development. He noted that the dominance of mud houses in the town is largely due to the lack of accessible roads to available plots, hindering proper development.

Nana Kwaku Atiemu further emphasized that the Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, recognized the leadership potential of Barimah Pobi Asomanin III, which led to his enstoolment as the chief of Akwadum. He reaffirmed the chief’s commitment to driving socio-economic transformation in the area.
