E/R: Newly Elected DCE and MP Respond to Infrastructure Needs of Ekye-Amanfrom Community
The newly elected District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kwahu Afram Plains South, Hon. Moses Tangbeh, together with the Member of Parliament (MP) Hon. Joseph Appiah, has responded to the infrastructural needs of the people of Ekye-Amanfrom with a donation of 116 bags of cement.
This initiative, aimed at improving the condition of the community’s durbar grounds, seeks to pave the floor and prevent the area from becoming dusty or muddy, especially during rainfall. The donation presentation, which took place at a funeral grounds gathering, brought together traditional leaders and community members, all of whom expressed heartfelt appreciation for the timely support.
In his address, Hon. Moses Tangbeh emphasized the importance of creating a clean and safe environment for public gatherings. He reaffirmed his commitment to the development of all communities within the district, stating that this donation forms part of a broader effort to uplift underserved areas.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the chiefs, Mr. Manaseh Kwasi Owusu, Committee Chairman of Ekye-Amanfrom, praised Hon. Tangbeh and the MP for fulfilling their promise. He described the gesture as a reflection of the DCE's responsiveness and commitment to meeting the developmental needs of the people.
The Odikro of Ekye-Amanfrom, Nana Asante Fodjour II, also expressed his gratitude for the support. He commended the DCE’s leadership and called on other stakeholders to emulate this effort to further boost development in the area. He noted that Hon. Tangbeh has already earned recognition across the district as a results-oriented leader who places the welfare of his people at the forefront.
Nana Fodjour added that the donation not only meets an immediate infrastructural need but also represents a strong spirit of collaboration between traditional authorities and the district leadership.
