E/R: Hon. Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo Supports New Tafo Hospital with Building Materials to Boost Security

Hon. Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency and former Deputy Minister of Education in charge of TVET, has extended her support to the New Tafo Government Hospital by donating essential building materials to enhance security at the facility.


The donation, which included cement, iron rods, roofing sheets, and other materials, is aimed at strengthening the hospital’s perimeter and improving its overall infrastructure.


The items were presented on her behalf by Mr. Stephen Osei Wusu, the Abuakwa North Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).


Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Osei Wusu conveyed a message from Hon. Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, in which she reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the healthcare sector and ensuring a safe and secure environment for both patients and healthcare workers.


Also present at the brief ceremony were Mr. Seth Odei, NPP Constituency Organizer; Mrs. Irene Baah Asare, NPP Constituency Treasurer; Nana Ofosu Asante Twum, NPP Constituency Elections and Research Officer, who also serves as the Eastern Regional Free SHS Coordinator; as well as other executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).


Hospital authorities expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful. The donation, they noted, would go a long way in improving safety and operations at the facility.



This initiative forms part of Hon. Dr. Twum-Ampofo’s broader commitment to strengthening public institutions and promoting development across the Abuakwa North Constituency.
