E/R:Kwahu Tafo Unveils Exciting Lineup for Easter 2025 Festivities

Kwahu Tafo is set to host a thrilling Easter celebration, blending tradition, culture, and entertainment into an unforgettable experience. While Easter is a globally observed Christian holiday, in Ghana, the Kwahu Easter festivities have evolved into a grand homecoming and international attraction. This year, Kwahu Tafo has officially launched its heritage-themed celebrations, honoring the traditions passed down by their forefathers.

At a stakeholder meeting, Nana Kwame Akuoko, Secretary of the Kwahu Tafo Easter Committee, announced that Easter 2025 will feature a mix of carnivals, cultural exhibitions, and entertainment. Under the theme "Empowering Communities, Celebrating Culture, Driving Economic Growth," the festivities are scheduled from April 18 to 21, 2025.

A key highlight of this year's event is the introduction of 'NANTE3' (Traditional Walk)—a symbolic journey retracing the steps of Kwahu Tafo’s ancestors to their present settlement. Other activities include community engagement programs, tourism experiences, sports events, a health walk and screening, a cooking competition, and electrifying performances from top artists like Akwaboah.

Mr. Francis Anum Boateng, Chairman of the Kwahu Tafo Easter Committee, encouraged both locals and visitors to take part in this year's celebration. He also revealed ambitious plans to upgrade tourism facilities and enhance the overall Easter experience at Kwahu Tafo.

With culture, entertainment, and economic development at its core, Kwahu Tafo Easter 2025 promises to be bigger and better than ever!
