E/R:Three Shortlisted for Abuakwa North MCE Position

 


Following a rigorous vetting process on January 27, 2025, the committee overseeing the selection of Municipal Chief Executives (MCEs) in the Eastern Region has shortlisted three candidates for the position of MCE for Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly.

The three candidates are:

Lateef Adjani



Charles Darko Yeboah



Cudjoe Adukpo

These shortlisted individuals have demonstrated strong leadership qualities, community engagement skills, and a deep understanding of the development needs of Abuakwa North Municipality. Their names will be forwarded to President John Dramani Mahama, who will make the final selection.

The appointment of an MCE is a crucial decision as the role involves spearheading local governance, overseeing development projects, and ensuring the effective implementation of government policies at the municipal level.

Stakeholders and residents of Abuakwa North are eagerly awaiting the President’s final decision, hoping for an MCE who will prioritize youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and economic growth in the constituency.
