E/R:Kwahuhemaa Urges CBG to Support Small Businesses and Strengthen Local Presence
Nana Adwoa Gyemfuah III, Paramount Queen Mother of the Kwahu Traditional Area in the Eastern Region, has called on Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) to focus on supporting small businesses, enhancing customer accessibility, and fostering reliable partnerships. She urged residents, particularly those in Kwahu Mpraeso and its environs, to take advantage of CBG’s banking services and products by saving and conducting business with the bank.
Speaking at the commissioning of CBG’s newly constructed ultra-modern edifice in Kwahu Mpraeso, Nana Adwoa Gyemfuah III encouraged the bank to expand its operations within the traditional area and prioritize support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). She emphasized the importance of engaging market women and other local entrepreneurs, highlighting that stronger partnerships with SMEs would be mutually beneficial for both the bank and the community.
She stated, “Reaching out to the residents, especially market women, will enhance their business operations while strengthening CBG’s presence in our communities.”
Mr. Joseph Opoku, General Manager of CBG Consumer Banking, commended the community for their support and noted that the new branch marks CBG’s third location in the Kwahu Traditional Area, adding to branches in Abetifi and Nkawkaw. He assured the public that the new branch aims to cater to the diverse banking needs of customers across Kwahu and its environs.
He reiterated CBG’s commitment to accessibility and customer-centric services, stating, “This new branch reaffirms our dedication to meeting the unique needs of our customers. We are focused on fostering partnerships with small businesses and supporting the growth of SMEs within the region.”
The newly commissioned branch is expected to bolster economic activity in Kwahu Mpraeso and its surrounding areas, providing a critical banking hub for individuals and businesses alike.
