E/R:Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo Urges Massive Support for Dr. Bawumia and Chief Buffalo in 2024 Elections

Hon. Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency, Co-Chairman of the NPP Manifesto Committee on Education, and former Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), has made a passionate appeal to the people of Abuakwa North to vote overwhelmingly for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, and Nana Kwame Addo Ampaw Frempong, popularly known as Chief Buffalo, the parliamentary candidate for the constituency, in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking during an interview with Nana Kwasi Asare on Nopras FM on November 30, 2024, Dr. Twum-Ampofo highlighted the remarkable socio-economic advancements achieved in the constituency under the leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. She described the duo’s tenure as a transformative period that significantly improved the lives of constituents.

Dr. Twum-Ampofo enumerated a host of development projects in Abuakwa North, including substantial investments in educational infrastructure and human resource development, enhanced healthcare facilities and services, initiatives targeting job creation for the youth, particularly in agriculture and vocational training, and ongoing road construction projects aimed at improving accessibility and boosting economic activities.

She stressed that these accomplishments are a testament to the NPP government’s commitment to delivering on its promises and called for the electorate to sustain this momentum by voting for the continuity of NPP’s progressive policies.

Using a local analogy, Dr. Twum-Ampofo likened the situation to a broken axe handle, emphasizing that when it breaks, a new handle is crafted to ensure the axe continues to function effectively. "Dr. Bawumia and Chief Buffalo represent the fresh handle needed to sustain and elevate the work we have started," she stated.

She urged her supporters and the entire Abuakwa North community to rally behind the NPP by voting decisively for Dr. Bawumia as president and Chief Buffalo as the parliamentary representative.

Dr. Twum-Ampofo expressed her confidence in Nana Kwame Addo Ampaw Frempong’s ability to build on the foundation she has laid in the constituency. She described him as a dynamic leader with a vision to drive the constituency to greater heights, leveraging the gains made under her tenure.

In her concluding remarks, Dr. Twum-Ampofo appealed to all constituents to consider the tangible benefits the NPP government has brought to Abuakwa North and vote massively for both Dr. Bawumia and Chief Buffalo in the upcoming elections. She emphasized that their victory would ensure the continuation of development and progress for all.
