E/R:2024 Election: Voters Urged to Follow Correct Voting Procedures

The NPP Campaign team in the Fanteakwa South Constituency, led by Parliamentary Candidate Mr. Duke Ofori Atta, has embarked on a voter education exercise aimed at sensitizing the electorate on the importance of adhering to proper voting procedures. The initiative seeks to reduce rejected ballots, promote inclusiveness, and highlight the significance of active voter participation in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

During a community engagement at Old Bososo, residents voiced pressing concerns about the lack of essential amenities in the area. They lamented the unavailability of electricity, potable water, and public toilets, as well as the deplorable state of the road linking the community. The deteriorating condition of the road, particularly two critical bridges, was described as a major hindrance to social and economic activities in the area.

The residents passionately appealed to Mr. Duke Ofori Atta to prioritize the construction of these bridges and improve infrastructure in Old Bososo if he is elected into office.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Duke Ofori Atta acknowledged the challenges raised by the community and pledged his commitment to addressing them. He assured residents that he would make the development of Old Bososo a priority when elected as Member of Parliament.

“I have taken note of all your concerns, and I assure you that when voted into power, I will work tirelessly to ensure these issues are resolved,” he stated.

The voter education program underscores the NPP’s focus on community engagement and mobilization ahead of the 2024 elections. By addressing both electoral awareness and developmental needs, the campaign team aims to foster trust and confidence among the constituents.
