W/R:Joana Gyan Cudjoe Triumphant in High Court Ruling, Secures Path to Amenfi Central Candidacy
In a landmark court decision, Joana Gyan Cudjoe has emerged victorious in her legal battle, securing her eligibility to contest the parliamentary seat for the Amenfi Central Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Her triumph in the high court is seen as a significant win for her campaign and the people of Amenfi Central, who have expressed strong support for her candidacy.
In her response to the ruling, Joana reflected on the biblical passage Job 42:7-17, noting its message of divine justice for the wrongly accused. “Justice may be delayed, but it is not denied,” she said, emphasizing that the ruling affirms her innocence and her commitment to serving the community with integrity and dedication.
Joana extended heartfelt gratitude to her legal team, including Lawyer Thaddeus Sory, Lawyer Israel Ackah, and Edudzi Tamekloe, for their relentless advocacy and expert guidance throughout the case. She specifically acknowledged Lawyer Sory for his dedication, saying his leadership was pivotal in securing this court victory.
