Nkwabeng Saviour School Gets New Classroom Block and WC Facility

A newly constructed three-unit classroom block, designed to be physically challenged-friendly, has been commissioned at the Nkwabeng Saviour School. The facility includes two staff common rooms, a headteacher's office, attached stores for each classroom, a six-seater WC toilet facility, and a mechanized pipe water system to ensure access to clean water. The project, which began six months ago, was delivered on time without compromising on quality.

The commissioning ceremony was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkoranza South, Hon. Dr. Akwasi Amoateng, and former Regional Chairman Hon. Adu Appiah Toma. Also in attendance were constituency executives, members of the Saviour Church in Nkwabeng, traditional leaders led by Nana Kyere Kuffuor, the Nkwabengwura, and a cross-section of the general public.

In their remarks, leaders of the church and Nananom expressed immense gratitude to the NPP government for its dedication to improving education and making schools inclusive for all. They particularly commended the government for addressing the pressing infrastructure needs of the Saviour School by delivering this essential facility. Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nkoranza South, was also lauded for her instrumental role in facilitating the successful execution of the project.

The new structure, with its accessibility features and modern amenities, is set to enhance the learning environment, creating a more convenient and inclusive atmosphere for students. This project underscores the government’s commitment to advancing education and fostering development in Nkoranza South.
