E/R: Chief of Staff Urges Ghanaians to Support NPP for Continuity in December 7 Elections
As part of her familiarization tour, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Frema Osei-Opare, visited the Fanteakwa South Constituency to seek blessings for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Duke Ofori Atta, and the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Her visit underscored the party’s commitment to strengthening ties with traditional leaders and grassroots stakeholders while advocating for continuity in governance.
In her address, Hon. Frema Osei-Opare commended the traditional authorities of Fanteakwa South for their efforts in fostering community engagement and governance. She highlighted the exemplary leadership of Dr. Bawumia and Mr. Duke Ofori Atta, describing their styles as inspiring and influential for the next generation. Hon. Osei-Opare appealed to the chiefs, market women, and stakeholders to support and vote for the NPP to enable the continuation of developmental projects and policies aimed at transforming the constituency and the nation at large.
The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Fanteakwa South, Mr. Duke Ofori Atta, expressed gratitude to Hon. Frema Osei-Opare for her unwavering support and guidance. He pledged to prioritize the development of the constituency, focusing on infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment. Mr. Ofori Atta also acknowledged the critical role of traditional leaders, emphasizing that his campaign's success and the constituency's progress depend on their collaboration and advice. He appealed to Ghanaians to re-elect the NPP to build on the foundation laid by his predecessors.
Traditional leaders, led by Osabarima Ottu Darko IV, Chief of Osino, expressed their appreciation for the respect and recognition shown by Mr. Duke Ofori Atta and the NPP leadership. Osabarima Ottu Darko IV assured the candidate of their unflinching support, urging him to address pressing challenges in the constituency, including poor road networks and the need for a Teacher Training College. He emphasized the importance of building on the efforts of previous leaders to ensure sustainable development in Fanteakwa South.
The visit reinforced the NPP’s call for unity and support to “break the 8” and continue their developmental agenda, with traditional authorities playing a pivotal role in shaping the constituency's future.
