Bunso Eco Park to Host Ghana's First Drone Soccer Event on September 21st, 2024

Drone soccer, also known as "RoboCup" or "Aerial Robotics Competition," is a fast-growing sport that combines the excitement of soccer with drone technology. Teams of drones compete to score goals in this thrilling match of skill and precision.

In collaboration with Nak Adventure Africa Limited, Bunso Eco Park is excited to announce the launch of drone soccer on September 21st, 2024. This will mark the first-ever drone soccer event in Ghana, and Bunso Eco Park, located in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region, is proud to host this groundbreaking event.

Bunso Eco Park, a lush nature reserve known for its beautiful scenery and outdoor activities, is the perfect venue for this unique event. Teams from across Ghana will compete in a series of drone soccer matches, with the drones supplied by Nak Adventure Africa Limited, a leading provider of drone technology in the country.

Visitors to the park on the day of the event will not only witness this exciting sport but also get a chance to fly a drone themselves. In addition, there will be swimming competitions, horse riding, adult swings, a Zipline, canopy walks, and plenty of food and drinks for purchase. The event promises fun for everyone, with a range of activities to enjoy.

The Chief of Coaltar in the Eastern Region, Barima Asiedu Okekrebesi II, has been destooled following a violent clash in Kraboa, a farming community in the Ayensuano District, which led to the tragic deaths of two individuals. The destoolment was officially announced by a delegation of traditional leaders (Nananom), led by the Apapamhene and Amantuomiensahene, Osabarima Okogyeaman Apagya Fori.
