E/R:MCE for Kwahu West Pledges Inclusive Development During Community Tour

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Kwahu West Municipality, Hon. Tamimu Halidu, has reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with residents to promote sustainable development and improve living conditions across the municipality.

He gave the assurance during a familiarisation tour of various communities, aimed at engaging residents, gathering first-hand information on their pressing challenges, and listening attentively to their concerns. The tour also provided an opportunity for residents to interact directly with the MCE.

According to Hon. Halidu, the engagements are intended to bring governance closer to the people and foster inclusive development through active citizen participation. He stressed that community feedback is vital to effective governance.

Some of the key challenges raised by residents during the tour included poor road networks, the need for extension of electrification projects, water crisis, health-related issues, and other developmental concerns.

The MCE assured residents that the Assembly would develop targeted solutions to address their needs and work tirelessly to improve their living conditions, regardless of location or distance. He also called on residents to collaborate with the Assembly and provide the necessary support to achieve its developmental objectives and goals.
