E/R:Outstanding students from 14 Schools in Fanteakwa South Honoured with Academic Excellence Awards

The Inspired by Asor Foundation has honoured 60 outstanding students from 14 schools in the Fanteakwa South District with Academic Excellence Awards as part of efforts to promote education and motivate young talents in the district.

The event was organized by the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the foundation, Mrs. Nancy Asor Asiedu-Amrado, who used the occasion to share her personal story with the students. She revealed that she hails from the Samang and Hemang communities in the district and encouraged the students to take their education seriously.

According to her, hard work, dedication, perseverance, and the grace of God have contributed to her success in life. She therefore advised the students to remain focused on their academic journey and work hard to achieve their dreams.

The 2026 edition of the programme was organized in line with the celebration of International Women’s Day under the theme “Give to Gain.” The initiative provided mentorship and inspiration to the students, particularly young girls, to encourage them to pursue their education with determination.

Several dignitaries were present at the event to support and motivate the award recipients. Among them were Madam Stella Konadu, the District Health Director for Fanteakwa South; Madam Rebecca Essuman, School Improvement Support Officer for the Osino Circuit representing the District Director of Education; and Madam Adelaide Easel, a Public Health Officer. They advised the students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to their studies.

The programme was also attended by traditional leaders from Samang and Hemang, as well as students, teachers, and members of the media.

As part of the awards package, beneficiaries received certificates, school supplies, and mathematical sets to support their academic work.

The Inspired by Asor Foundation continues to champion initiatives aimed at empowering young talents—especially girls—through education, mentorship, and support to help them build successful and purposeful lives.
