E/R: MP Visits BECE Exam Centres, Pledges Awards for Best-Performing Students
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Fanteakwa South, Hon. Duke Ofori Atta, together with the District Education Director, visited several BECE examination centers as candidates entered their fourth day of exams.
Hon. Ofori Atta extended a goodwill message to all candidates in the Fanteakwa South District, encouraging them to approach the exams with confidence, courage, and perseverance. He reminded them that many individuals, including teachers, chiefs, and himself, have gone through similar challenges and emerged successfully.
He emphasized that hard work and determination are crucial to success, urging the students to apply their knowledge effectively on paper. The MP also reiterated his commitment to awarding candidates who obtain a single grade, a tradition he has upheld for the past two years, assuring the students of his continuous support.
In a brief interview, Hon. Ofori Atta noted that his visit aimed to inspire and motivate the candidates, boosting their confidence and encouraging them to perform at their best. He urged them to stay focused and write to the best of their abilities.
On his part, Mr. Richard Akosah Addo, the Fanteakwa South District Education Director, expressed appreciation to the MP for his inspiring message to the students. He shared that a total of 1,004 candidates—comprising 497 males and 507 females—were taking the exams across five centers in the district.
The candidates come from 36 schools, including 25 public and 11 private institutions. The examination is being supervised by 38 invigilators and 7 supervisors.
Mr. Akosah Addo wished the students success in their exams and expressed confidence in their ability to achieve excellent results.
