E/R: CRIG Creche Holds Colourful Graduation Ceremony for Pupils

 

The Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) Creche at Akyem New Tafo in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region has held a colourful graduation ceremony for its pupils, attracting dignitaries, parents, and alumni.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Esther Gyedu, commended the initiative behind the establishment of the school six years ago, noting that it was created to support working parents, especially nursing mothers. She praised the institution for providing valuable childcare and educational support.


In her welcome address, Madam Irene Baah explained that the annual graduation marks the transition of pupils from the creche to preschool. She acknowledged challenges faced by the school but emphasized its steady growth and progress.


Chairperson of the ceremony, Dr. Mrs. Patricia Adu-Yeboah, lauded the teachers for their commitment to nurturing discipline and knowledge in the pupils. She further expressed appreciation to parents for their continuous cooperation with the school.



The event was highlighted by entertaining performances from the graduating pupils, including poetry recitals and drama, which showcased their creativity and talents.
