As the nation joined the rest of the world to celebrate Father’s Day this past weekend, the Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Abuakwa North Constituency, Hon. Sadidi Mohammed, issued a touching message of appreciation to fathers, father-figures, and mentors within the party and the broader community.

In a statement released to honor the occasion, Hon. Sadidi Mohammed lauded the men of the Abuakwa North Constituency and the wider Eastern Region for their pivotal role in maintaining the social and political fabric of the nation.

“On this special occasion of Father’s Day, I extend my heartfelt appreciation and respect to all fathers, father-figures, and dedicated men within our great party, the National Democratic Congress, especially those in Abuakwa North and across the Eastern Region,” Hon. Mohammed stated.

Highlighting the dual burden of duty that fathers carry, the Chairman emphasized that their contributions extend far beyond the household. He noted that the discipline and guidance provided by fathers are essential building blocks for a stable society and a thriving political organization.

“Your commitment to your families, your communities, and the development of our party continues to inspire hope and stability,” the Chairman remarked. “As fathers, you play a vital role in shaping the future through discipline, guidance, and sacrifice.”

The NDC executive further acknowledged the resilience required to navigate current socio-economic challenges, saluting the men of the Eastern Region for their steadfastness. "To all men in Abuakwa North and the entire Eastern Region, I salute your strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to service,” he added.

As the political season intensifies, Hon. Sadidi Mohammed concluded his message with a prayer for renewal, urging the men of the party to remain focused on the broader goal of nation-building.
