Save The Nation Founder Endorses Donald Trump, Citing Alignment with African Values
The Founder and President of Save The Nation for Future Leaders, Mr. Kwadwo Atta Apeakorang, has expressed his strong support for Donald Trump and the Republican Party in the United States of America. He emphasized that the policies and governance of Donald Trump align closely with the cultural values, traditions, and beliefs of African nations, including Ghana. According to Mr. Apeakorang, the Trump administration has consistently demonstrated a positive impact on African countries, making it a preferred choice for the continent.
Mr. Apeakorang's endorsement is primarily rooted in Trump's stance on LGBTQ+ issues. He highlighted that many African countries, including Ghana, have political, traditional, and religious objections to the acceptance and promotion of LGBTQ+ rights. He described Trump's position as one that resonates with the values of African societies, which largely view LGBTQ+ issues as contrary to their cultural norms.
In contrast, Mr. Apeakorang criticized the current administration led by President Kamala Harris and the Democrats Party, accusing them of endorsing LGBTQ+ rights and pressuring African countries to adopt these policies. He referred to this approach as a form of "political ambushing," suggesting that the Harris' administration's stance is an imposition on the sovereignty of African nations.
Mr. Apeakorang, an environmental advocate, also highlighted the importance of international leadership in addressing the issue of climate change and environmental degradation. He stated that electing Donald Trump could lead to the implementation of robust international policies aimed at mitigating the effects of global warming, which significantly impact regions like Africa, particularly Ghana. According to Mr. Apeakorang, illegal mining, commonly known as galamsey, is one of the major causes of environmental degradation in Ghana. He believes that with strong international policies and cooperation, spearheaded by a global leader like Donald Trump, efforts to curb galamsey and its harmful effects on the environment could be intensified, ultimately leading to a healthier and more sustainable ecosystem in Ghana and across Africa.
Calling on Americans to take a stand, Mr. Apeakorang urged all eligible voters in the United States to support Donald Trump and the Republican Party in upcoming elections. He believes that their victory would not only benefit the United States but also have a ripple effect that positively influences the political, environmental and social landscape of African countries.
This declaration of support from Mr. Apeakorang adds to the growing discourse on how global political decisions, particularly from influential countries like the United States, impact African nations and their cultural dynamics.
