E/R: All Smile Together Foundation Pushes for Stronger Support as 16 Trainees Graduate in Akyem Maase

The Director of All Smile Together Foundation, Madam Akua Judith, has emphasized the urgent need for Ghana to prioritize employability and vocational skills to drive national development.

Speaking to the media at the 2025 graduation ceremony of the Foundation’s Do Wo Nyonko branch in Akyem Maase on Saturday, 15th November 2025, Madam Judith reiterated that skills training remains the surest path to empowering individuals, reducing unemployment, and fostering economic transformation.

She encouraged the Ghanaian youth to embrace skills acquisition rather than relying solely on white-collar employment, stressing that vocational expertise opens the door to business opportunities and self-sufficiency.

Despite the institution’s impact, Madam Judith revealed that infrastructure deficits and financial limitations remain major challenges. Because the Foundation trains students entirely for free, she appealed to civil society organizations, philanthropists, and the government to support their work to expand training opportunities for more young people.

Chairman for the ceremony, Osabarima Adu Asare Bosompem, Chief of Akyem Maase, expressed his amazement at the creativity of the trainees after witnessing an impressive fashion display. As a first-time attendee, he commended their craftsmanship and pledged to advocate for the school wherever he goes. He urged the youth of Akyem Maase and surrounding communities to take advantage of the facility to gain employable skills.

Trainees who spoke to the media also expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the All Smile Together Foundation. They noted that the training was provided at no cost, and they are determined to use the skills acquired to transform their lives, support their families, and contribute meaningfully to society.

The Do Wo Nyonko branch specializes in fashion and dressmaking training. During the ceremony, 16 graduates who successfully completed their programme were presented with a hand sewing machine, steam iron, and assorted fabrics as free start-up support to launch their careers.

The well-attended event drew members of the public, traditional leaders, and media representatives, highlighting the growing impact of the Foundation in promoting youth empowerment and sustainable livelihood skills.
