E/R:New Juaben North MCE Warns Assembly Officials Over Non-Participation in National Sanitation Day
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben North in the Eastern Region, Hon. Samuel Adongo, has issued a stern warning to staff of the Municipal Assembly occupying government bungalows but failing to actively participate in the monthly National Sanitation Day exercises. Speaking after last Saturday’s clean-up exercise held on 6th September 2025, the MCE expressed disappointment over the low turnout of some assembly workers, particularly those who benefit from government-provided accommodation. He noted that such behavior undermines the government’s efforts to maintain a clean, healthy, and environmentally safe municipality. According to Hon.
