E/R: Missing Civilian Employee Found Dead in Bediasi River — Pathologist Confirms Severely Dismembered Remains; Body Released to Family for Burial
The community of Ahyia Yeboah near Sokode-Juaso, close to Akyem Kukurantumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region, continues to grapple with fear and tension following the tragic death of Kwadwo Yeboah, a civilian employee at Burma Camp who was reported missing earlier this month. Mr. Yeboah disappeared on 16th November 2025 after visiting Foforfo to retrieve a mobile phone. His body was later discovered in the Bediasi River on 25th November by a community search team, sparking anger among residents and leading to the burning of three houses before the Ghana National Fire Service brought the situation under control. Police earlier deployed a pathologist to assist in the professional retrieval and examination of the remains.
