W/R:Amenfi Central MP Decries Lack of Electricity and Mobile Network Coverage in 2025

The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has described as unacceptable the continued lack of electricity and mobile network coverage in several communities within the constituency despite the year being 2025.

Speaking on the matter, the MP emphasized that many residents still struggle with basic amenities such as power supply, a situation she believes is hindering development, education, security, and economic activities in the area.

She further stressed that there is an urgent need for transformers in every community across Amenfi Central to ensure equitable access to electricity and improve the quality of life for residents.

According to her, improving mobile network connectivity should also be treated as a priority, as it plays a vital role in communication, business, and emergency response.

The lawmaker called on relevant authorities and stakeholders to act swiftly to address these long-standing challenges.
