GA/R:Hajia Mariam Mohammed Welcomes Japan and Russia Delegation Ahead of Elatom Conference in Accra

 

Hajia Mariam Mohammed, a key coordinator of the upcoming Elatom Conference in Ghana, today received high-level delegations from Japan and Russia at the Kotoka International Airport ahead of the event scheduled for Friday, 5th December 2025.

After their arrival, Hajia Mariam Mohammed led the delegation to the Ministry of Energy, where they were warmly received by the Deputy Minister, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah. In his remarks, the Deputy Minister noted that the Ministry’s primary role is policy formulation and implementation to drive Ghana’s energy agenda. He welcomed the visitors and wished them a fruitful engagement and a pleasant stay in the country.

The international delegation, which includes renowned speakers Victor Tumov and Sergey Khrisky, is in Ghana to participate in the Elatom Conference happening at the Tang Palace Hotel at 8:00 a.m. GMT.


This year’s conference, themed “The Future of Technology and Energy Starts Here!”, will bring together innovators, policymakers, and global energy experts. Special Guest of Honour, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and Special Guest Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor are also expected to attend.


The arrival and official reception of the delegation underscore Ghana’s strengthening collaboration with global partners in advancing technology and energy solutions. Organizers say the conference will provide a major platform for strategic dialogue and partnerships.
