E/R:Advocacy Against Hard Drugs Lands Asiakwa Media Practitioner in Threats and Intimidation

Asiakwa, December 12, 2025 — A concerned citizen of Asiakwa, Tweneboah Koduah, has reportedly become the target of hatred, threats, and intimidation following his sustained campaign against hard drug use and other social issues in the community.

Mr. Koduah, widely known for his outspoken stance against drug abuse and its negative effects on social cohesion, has consistently used media platforms to educate the public, raise awareness about the dangers of addiction, and encourage responsible behaviour among the youth. While his advocacy has won him admiration and support from many residents, it has also attracted hostility from unknown individuals opposed to his message.

According to reports, he has been subjected to online harassment, verbal threats, and alleged physical intimidation, raising serious concerns about his safety and the broader implications for freedom of expression and civic advocacy. The matter has reportedly been brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities for investigation.

A local activist, speaking on the situation, noted that individuals who speak up for the good of society should not be silenced through fear and intimidation, stressing that such acts pose a threat to community development and democratic values.

The development has triggered calls from community leaders and media groups for enhanced protection for citizens who champion social change. They have urged law enforcement agencies to act swiftly to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Despite the threats, Mr. Koduah is said to remain resolute in his mission to combat drug abuse and promote positive social values, as the Asiakwa community looks forward to decisive action to restore confidence and ensure the safety of advocates working in the public interest.
