‎Amenfi Central MP Joana Gyan Cudjoe Boosts Women's Farming Initiative with GH₵25,000 Cash and Farming Essentials

‎The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has continued her unwavering support for agricultural development and women's empowerment by providing significant donations to 50 women farmers under the "Gell Farming" initiative in her constituency.
‎The beneficiaries, who are part of a vegetable farming collective spearheaded by the MP, recently received a comprehensive package designed to boost their farming activities and improve their livelihoods. The donation included essential farming boots, bags of rice, and a substantial cash sum of GH₵500 each, totaling GH₵25,000.00 in pocket money.
‎The "Gell Farming" project is a brainchild of Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, who personally brought these 50 women together with the vision of fostering collective vegetable farming. This initiative aims not only to improve food security within the constituency but also to create sustainable economic opportunities and independence for the women involved.
‎The provision of farming boots addresses a critical need for protective gear, enhancing the safety and efficiency of the women in the fields. The bags of rice offer direct food support, easing household burdens, while the GH₵500 cash per individual is intended as vital seed capital and pocket money to facilitate their daily farming operations and personal needs.
‎Alex Kofi Ampong, the diligent Coordinator for Gell Farming, expressed profound gratitude to the MP for her consistent and impactful support. "Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe has always been a beacon of hope and a source of progressive help for us," Mr. Ampong stated. "Her continuous intervention and strategic assistance are invaluable in boosting our farming activities and ensuring our success. This latest donation is yet another testament to her unwavering dedication to the women and agricultural development of Amenfi Central."
‎This initiative underscores MP Joana Gyan Cudjoe's commitment to empowering women and strengthening the agricultural sector in her constituency through practical and sustainable interventions. The Gell Farming women are now better equipped to expand their operations, contribute significantly to their families' welfare, and set an example of what collective effort and strategic support can achieve in rural development.
